Once we gathered all necessary project information from the client, we can start to:
- Open a project room on jovoto
- Select the project stakeholders
- Shortlist and invite creatives with the right skills for the project
- Finalize the creative team
1. Open a project room on jovoto
Creating a project on our platform and adding all relevant details, focusing on the basic but crucial information of the creative brief. That includes the task, time frame, payment, and requirements. Only with this, we can start the invitation process. (See point 3).
2. Select the project stakeholders
In each of these 'project rooms' you will find our designated team selected for the project including, but not a must, a project owner and a creative guide. In some cases we add others on top of it:
Project owner
Who: Our amazing jovoto team or an external expert.
Role definition: Being jovoto project-execution-person. Understanding best the client's needs, pulling the right strings, and putting everything in place.
Creative guide
Who: Industry expert or internal jovoto professionals.
Role definition: Serving as your link to the project’s client. Thanks to their specialized knowledge and direct contact with the client, they will support you and offer their feedback in developing your submission to perform at your best! The creative guide is here to help you with any project-specific questions. Feel free to write them in the project room or via direct message under their profile page.
jovoto support center
Who: Our amazing jovoto team
Role definition: Here to help you with any question/s you have. This includes off-project topics but not only. In addition, once a project is complete, any further questions can be directed to us.
A subject-matter-expert
Who: Industry expert from the client-side or an external advisor or an internal jovoto professional.
Role definition: Giving their inputs either directly to you or to your creative guide, to navigate the project to the best outcome.
Jury
Who: Industry expert from the client-side or an external advisor or an internal jovoto professional.
Role definition: Judging and awarding ideas based on their expertise and their knowledge of what the client is looking for.
3. Shortlist and invite creatives with the right skills for the project
In Invite projects, we co-create with a group of creatives (can be between 2-10 or more). Continuing to Phase two or three of the project, we collaborate with less and in other cases, we're working with a bigger group of talents. This can be shown on the projects page, under contributors.
Based on the project information we shortlist and invite creatives with the necessary skills for the project. Creatives with verified skills, meaning, have uploaded portfolio items, had their work assessed, and been accepted to our Talent pools can be considered for selection to participate in our projects.
Find more about uploading your portfolio work and our talent pools here.
On OUR hand:
Creating the shortlist and selecting the project's group is very challenging! We're proud to say that we work with YOU! A wide diverse group of professional designers and creative minds from all over the world. We have a great tool allowing us to browse our talent pools and match your skills with the project's needs, adding relevant filters, such as experience, country, etc.
We send the selected creatives an Email invitation to participate in the Invite project, including a Pre Briefing of the project. This includes an outline of the timeframe, payment, and requirements of the creative brief, therefore, you can use this information to decide whether you would like to take part in the project or not.
*Note: this will not affect your participation in future projects.
On YOUR side:
You will receive an email invitation from us. Please read the Pre Briefing carefully and check if you understand it, are available to participate, and can deliver the task.
Sent to your email account:
This is how it looks on your profile page: This is how it looks on the project page:
Once you decide you're IN, please click the AVAILABLE button. (or not available if you're not).
4. Finalise the creative team
Checking the shortlisted replies & availabilities allows us to finalize the creative team of the project. Only when you receive an additional email from us, a few days before the project starts, it confirms you ARE PART of the project's group.
Please Note:
* We invite additional creatives to the project than needed. This is to guarantee we'll have the right
number of creatives to start the project.
* If you were shortlisted and received an Email invitation from us but you didn't get another Email
confirming you are part of the project's group, it only means, you were not selected for the final
team of this project. Knowing you & your skills enable us to curate the best team for the project
and if it didn't fit this time, we'll find you the best next challenge.
