In invite projects, clients will receive your ideas together with your source (open, original) files for each finalized idea.
How do you make your source files available to the client?
It's very simple. When you submit an idea to a project (a published one) you need to upload your source files, even if it's only the beginning of your design process. Just before the end of the project (usually 24 hours before – no worries), the Creative Guide will inform you via a comment under the brief to upload your final and most-updated version of your submission:
- Go to your idea.
- Click on Edit Idea and scroll down to the Source files tab.
- Upload your source file of the final version of your work as ONE ZIP file(!) (max. 20MG)
- Please make sure to name the file with your Idea name & your name. If it's too long, then shorten it. If I am to download it, the name 'Source files/ final version/presentation etc.'
don't give me any clue, which idea is it.
This is how you'll see it:
If you've made a mistake and you need to upload an updated version of the ZIP file, simply go back to the Source Files tab and upload it again. The older version will get deleted automatically.
That's it. Make sure to upload the final version before the end of the submission period! Once that period is finished, you cannot upload it anymore. And that only creates additional work for you and us. So, THANK YOU for uploading your source files on time!
