jovoto is unique in that both the client/jury, as well as you, the community, determines how the award money is distributed. Rating is how you and your peers choose which ideas are awarded.
As soon as an idea has been uploaded, it is open for community rating. Ratings should be given objectively and with the brief and client’s requirements in mind. Using a scale of 1 to 10, give the best ideas a high rating close to 10, and the ideas that are off-brief or not worth developing, a low rating close to 1.
After five people have rated your idea, your idea’s rating will only be visible to you. Once the voting period is completed, this rating will become visible to others.
Over the course of a project, your overall rating will move up and down. This is due to the fact that your rating is not just based on ratings your idea has received, but an algorithm considering an average rating of other submissions and the time in which you uploaded your idea.
Additionally, you will receive a notification when someone rates your idea with a 9 or 10.
As high-ratings indicate that the community thinks your idea has great potential, focus on developing it even further.
Please be aware that after the rating phase has closed your ranks may change before the official close of the project due to rating monitoring done by the creative guide.
