All jovoto creatives should verify their account to ensure platform security. This helps to keep our community fair and free of duplicate accounts. Once you verify your account, you are eligible to earn and receive payments and awards. Follow these steps to verify your account:
- Go to your Username on the right corner. Click “Settings” overview and then click on “Account”.
- Under the subheading “Verify your identity” go to UPLOAD AN OFFICIAL, PHOTO ID.
> Please make sure to upload a valid official ID with your photo and first & last name on it,
in English, such as your student card, driving license, health insurance card, ID card or
passport. - Remember your identification must include your photo and verify your official name (this name must also match the one listed on your profile). This is also the name that will be used for contracts/ licensing agreements so it must be yours and not the name of an agency, group of people, or a different individual.
Once verified, you will receive an Email confirmation and you'll be able to see a light blue checkmark verification next to your profile picture.
*Note: Only the jovoto team is able to see your ID card. After your account is verified, your ID is
deleted immediately.

I don't want to show my name publicly, can I still verify my ID?
Yes, that’s no problem - you can choose whether or not to display your name publicly. This doesn't effect your account verification. Nonetheless, your full name is saved and shown only to the jovoto team.
