If you earn an award, all you need to do is ensure that your profile includes your full address and all payment information needed. If necessary, fill in also your VAT number (only for EU creatives). Once you verify your ID, the money will be transferred to you in due course. jovoto does not take a percentage of the award amount.
To make the payment process shorter:
- If you are from an EU country or your country is a SEPA member (please check here), we recommend you to use your bank account as your preferred payment method.
The transaction duration is the fastest and you won’t be charged with any bank transfer costs.
- If you are from a non-EU countries, we recommend you to pick PayPal as your first option and if that’s not an option for you, pick your bank information as your payment method.
Bank transfers outside of SEPA will be charged with 25€. Paypal and SEPA are without any charge.
Please make sure it's filled in correctly! If you provide the wrong bank data or an invalid PayPal address, any costs arising will be deducted from your award money.
If you’ve selected a bank transfer as your payment method: jovoto will inform you via email as soon as the money transfer is completed. Once the amount has been transferred, it could still take another 2-3 days before the money is in your account.
If you’ve selected PayPal as a payment method: You will be informed by PayPal as soon as the money has been transferred. Please note, you’ll have to accept the payment from PayPal in order to complete the transaction. Thus, it is essential that you’ve inputted the correct PayPal account. If you do not, the award money will get “stuck” in PayPal and not transferred.
In both cases, please don’t forget to check your spam folders.
