Our Projects
We run different types of projects on jovoto, using different set-ups to reach our client’s goals and challenge your creativity! Here we summarise the key differences:
In terms of who can access them and the way creatives are rewarded
Invite Projects are special guaranteed-payment opportunities for experienced creatives. A small number of creatives are hand-picked by jovoto to participate in these exclusive projects. Creatives with verified skills will be considered for these opportunities. Read more about Invite projects and how we select the team of creatives.
Already have verified skills and looking to stand-out? Show off your skills by uploading additional portfolio work.
Our Open Projects are opportunities open to all creatives with a profile on jovoto - anyone from anywhere in the world can submit their ideas, collaborate, offer feedback, and innovate together.
It’s like a massive global brainstorming session! In each Open Project, there are different types of awards available - some are selected by the client or a project jury and some by you, the community!
In terms of submission requirements & expectations
You should, of course, look at the brief of each project to understand the specific submission requirements, but our projects generally fall into one of the following categories:
In Create projects, creatives work on fully fleshed out designs, like a packaging design for a limited edition product range for example.
In Explore projects, initial Spark ideas are provided and creatives are asked to explore what options there are in and around the spark ideas - and make suggestions for what can be developed further.
In Insight projects, we are looking to get opinions, observations or feedback on existing products, ideas etc - a quick “insight” into the topic at hand. These types of projects require the least effort on your part.
