What is "bad rating behaviour"?
Bad rating behaviour amounts to:
1) Bashing rivalry ideas: Don't rate if you can't stay objective. It's pretty poor to downrate others to support the own idea.
2) Supporting ideas of friends: May the best idea win, and not the one with the most friends. A popularity vote is just lame, you should know better since primary school!
3) Supporting always the same community members: Let's not think and act in cliques - open up and cherish everybody's good ideas.
4) Trading rates: "If your rate mine with 10 I rate yours with 10" - omg, might even be lamer than supporting a friend. Don't spam others with pm's and beg for ratings.
5) Undifferentiated rating: rating all ideas with eg 5 stars - boring! Honour the differences and go for the full scale.
Don't rate people or ranks - rate ideas!
