How transparent is the rating system?

The voting system is neither completely opaque nor is it completely transparent. On jovoto, it makes sense that you can see in a user’s profile, which ideas he/she “loves” (=has given a rating of 9 or 10 stars), and which ideas he/she has “bashed” (=1 or 2 stars).

All ratings between 3 and 8 stars are top secret - neither the idea author nor any other community member has the chance to see these ratings.
