I don't have a tax number, can I still receive my prize money?

If you are a German citizen you must indicate your tax number on each invoice. Please contact your local financial office (Finanzamt) if you don't have a tax number yet. It's very easy to get your lifelong tax number. No costs are due.

If you are an EU-citizen you need a Value added tax identification number.

If you are a citizen from a non-EU country that also provides a Value added tax identification number (please follow the link and check the list), you have to indicate your Value added tax identification number as well.

If you are a citizen of a country that does not provide you with a Value added tax identification number, just leave the tab blank.
